Welcome
Objective: To promote awareness of and to educate Rotarians on the growing problem of modern-day slavery.
"it is estimated that Iowa has 320 trafficking victims
at any given time/day/week."
That is why this action team, made up of 17 Rotary Clubs in District 6000 have joined forces to spread awareness in their communities and safeguard youth through prevention and education. The Rotary Action Team collaborates with: Iowa Network Against Human Trafficking (iowanaht.org), the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery (ragas.online), non-profits, law enforcement, and other organizations such as schools, businesses, and faith communities.
