Rotary Club of Decatur County - Cans for Kids
Since 2005, Rotary Club of Decatur County has collected cans to generate $8,000 each year to support our youth programs, including Rotary Youth Exchange inbound students, RYLA participants, Interact Club, Warm Coats for Students and more. We have a centrally located can corral that is emptied weekly and stored in a barn for once monthly sorting. Our crew of 8-15 Rotarian and student volunteers sort the cans in about an hour.
