Event Synopsis: Rotary District 6000 Learning Seminar
The Rotary Leadership Pathways Learning Seminar, themed "Create Lasting Impact," is a comprehensive two-day training event scheduled for April 10–11, 2026. Led by District Governor-Elect (DGE) Bill Bruce and District Governor Nominee and Lead Learning Facilitator Gretchen Nollman, the seminar is designed to equip Assistant Governors (AGs), Presidents-Elect (PEs), President Nominees (PNs) and Rotaracts, with the tools and leadership strategies necessary for a successful 2026-2027 Rotary year.
Day 1: Friday, April 10th – Foundation & Fellowship
The opening day focuses on establishing the leadership pathway and fostering connections among district leaders.

Afternoon Sessions (3:00 PM – 5:30 PM): Following the opening comments and a 2026-2027 theme video, attendees will move into specialized breakout tracks:

Assistant Governors: Focusing on their role and "Leading with Impact".

PEs & PNs: Exploring "The President’s Workbench" and essential tools for success.

Rotaractors: Focusing on purpose, teamwork, and setting the stage for their year.

Keynote Insight: Sarah Ennis, President & CEO of Spark Point Inc., will deliver a presentation on Servant Leadership.

Evening Social (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM): The group will travel to the Renaissance Savery Hotel for a fellowship event featuring appetizers and networking focused on club goals for the upcoming year.
Day 2: Saturday, April 11th – Strategy & Execution
The second day is dedicated to technical skills, goal setting, and core Rotary pillars.

Morning Workshops (8:00 AM – 11:30 AM):

Breakout Track 1: Topics include work-life balance within Rotary, servant leadership, and effective club/board meeting management.

Breakout Track 2: A deep dive into the "Data/Tech Tool Kit," including ClubRunner and MyRotary, alongside sessions on leading through challenges.

Goal Setting: A dedicated hour for PEs, PNs, and AGs to review and enter goals for their term.

Mid-Day Highlights (11:30 AM – 1:10 PM):

The District 6000 Annual Meeting will take place during the lunch buffet.

Presentations on supporting youth and a spotlight on the "Hall of Friendship".

Afternoon Core Sessions (1:15 PM – 3:00 PM): Attendees will rotate through three critical "CORE" sessions:

Membership: "Grow and Glow" with Jennifer Chittendon.

Public Image: Strategies for the "secret sauce" of Rotary’s brand.

The Rotary Foundation: Understanding global impact and changing the world.

Closing (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM): The event concludes with a guest speaker from AARP on grants/resources and a final session on creating a leadership legacy.
