The Paul E. Hellwege Guardian of Integrity Award
The District Vocational Service Team invites and encourages your club to nominate one worthy, living member for the Paul E. Hellwege Guardian of Integrity Award, which is named after the late District Governor Paul Hellwege (1954-55).
This award was introduced in 2010-11 and is presented annually to Rotarians in our District who have been a member for a minimum of three years, who exemplify the attributes and passion for ethics and integrity in his or her vocation, business and personal life that Paul exemplified. This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions that foster the development of integrity. It singles out those who have made contributions in business, media, academia or government and who have by his or her actions, writing, policies and public pronouncements, strengthened and fostered development of integrity and ethical practices. Special consideration will be given to members who have made sacrifices and/or undertaken risks to uphold Rotary's Core Value of Integrity. A nomination by a club in and by itself is a significant recognition and should be treated as such.
