On June 23, 2025, the Iowa Network Against Human Trafficking and Slavery (NAHT) celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Rotary District #6000 has been a great collaborator and supporter of NAHT for several years. Over the last 3 years, there have been 17 Rotary Clubs represented on the D6000 Prevention Human Trafficking Action Team.
NAHT is the first and continues to be the only state-wide organization devoted to eradicating human trafficking in all its forms. NAHT is a 501(c)(3) organization, Tax ID: 20-3299458
NAHT has a 20th-anniversary fundraising campaign to raise $20,000. Money will be used to help the NAHT to increase awareness and thereby the prevention of this heinous crime of human trafficking.
Individual donors are the main source of revenue for the NAHT, followed by the faith community and businesses. NAHT receives no state or federal funding. In 2024, the NAHT incurred expenses of $23,512 but contributions of only $16,673, leaving a shortfall of $6,839.
